「聞蔵Ⅱビジュアル(Kikuzo II Visual)」は、朝日新聞社が提供するイメージ付オンライン記事データベースです。1879(明治12)年の創刊から今日まで約1500万件の記事・広告に加えて、雑誌「AERA」「週刊朝日」、最新現代用語事典「知恵蔵」、「アサヒグラフ」、「人物データベース」、「歴史写真アーカイブ」が検索できます。
さらに、「英文ニュースデータベース」もあります。朝日新聞社が発行してきた英字新聞「International Herald Tribune/The Asahi Shimbun(ヘラルド朝日)」の「ASAHIセクション」と、英語の総合ニュースサイトとして発信中の「AJW(Asia & Japan Watch)」に掲載された2001年4月以降の記事が検索できます。
2017年4月には、聞蔵「縮刷版」に西部(九州)と名古屋で発行の紙面PDFを収録しました。これまでの東京、大阪とともに、同じ日の4パターンが読み比べられます。さらに、今年から、英語版の検索画面を用意しました。
ワークショップでは、これらのコンテンツのほか、聞蔵Ⅱビジュアルの使い方を最新の活用事例を交えながらご紹介します。

Kikuzo II Visual, an online article database complete with images created by the Asahi Shimbun Company, presently enables users to search more than 15 million articles and advertisements in the paper since its first issue in 1879 (year 12 of the Meiji Era). In addition, Kikuzo II Visual includes magazines such as AERA and Shukan Asahi, an up-to-date modern dictionary Chiezo, a pictorial magazine Asahi Graph, the Who's Who Database and the Historical Photo Archive.
The Asahi Shimbun has added a database of its English-language newspapers in Kikuzo II Visual. You are able to perform a full-text search of articles published in the Asahi Shimbun section of "The International Herald Tribune/The Asahi Shimbun (the IHT/Asahi)," and "AJW (Asia & Japan Watch)" dating back to April 2001. 
In April 2017, Seibu (Kyushu) head office version and Nagoya head office version is added in reduce-size facsimile of Kikuzo II Visual. You can compare 4 patterns of Tokyo, Osaka, Seibu (Kyushu), Nagoya. This year, English version of Kikuzo II Visual retrieval screen released. 
In the workshop, techniques on how to use the ever-evolving Kikuzo II Visual will be taught, while including real-life examples of use.
